Job summary

Solve Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

You will manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept through construction handoff. The role is fully remote and requires coordinating with engineering, operations, and procurement teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards; ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects weighing 12kV to 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through construction turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment with estimates and schedules.
