Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, solar interconnections, and BESS. You’ll manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept to handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects from concept through construction handoff.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Support procurement and vendor strategies; ensure alignment of estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
