Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, and BESS projects. The role covers planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk review, and client coordination, from concept through turnover.

This position is fully remote with location details discussed in interviews. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical construction or preconstruction, with HV subs, EPC or design-build experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Construction/Engineering or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities preferred.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage projects 12kV–500kV+.
• Develop budgets, schedules, estimates, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate preconstruction from inception through turnover.
• Collaborate with clients, utilities, and internal teams to align objectives.
