Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, BESS, and industrial power distribution systems.

This senior role drives planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and procurement strategy from concept through handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects from concept through construction handoff.
• Manage project planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Develop project execution strategies that meet client goals and company objectives.
• Oversee risk assessment, constructability reviews, and long-lead equipment planning.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment with schedules and plans.
