Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities across substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to diverse sites nationwide.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician. Travel 75% and strong English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Complete a job with assistance from Technicians and Trainees.
• Adhere to NETA standards when testing equipment.
• Travel to varying job sites up to 75%.
