Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair in substations, BESS, and PV facilities. The role is remote with substantial travel to job sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work at remote locations in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment by adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates; travel to job sites.
• Mentor Technicians and Trainees; assess safety and technical skills.
