Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This role is remote with heavy travel to vary job sites nationwide, providing support under supervision of technicians and trainees. Candidate will perform acceptance testing, collect data, enter tests into our report software, and uphold SOLV Energy safety and quality procedures while traveling up to 75% of

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and operate remotely in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
Collaborate with Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs.
Enter test data into test report software and maintain accurate documentation.
