Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to multiple job sites.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years electrical testing experience in substations or BESS yards, strong safety discipline, and the ability to create comprehensive test reports while working with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel ~75% of the time and work remotely.
• Proficient in English communication and documentation duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe work environment and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare timely test reports and required documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates on testing activities.
• Lead test planning, execution and review with technicians and trainees.
