Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth by pursuing new prospects and presenting TriNet’s HR solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. In this role, you will own your book of business, run a rigorous sales process, and collaborate with executives to close deals.

You will build a pipeline, conduct meetings, write proposals, and present to C-level executives and decision makers in midsize companies across a defined territory.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to build your own book of business from prospecting, sourcing, establishing and maximizing partner and referral networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in defined territory across multiple states.
• Prospect: Build a pipeline of target prospects via cold calls, email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Qualifying opportunities: Assess target market and personas to qualify opportunities.
• Value & Consultative Selling: Establish trusted advisor relationships and long-term client relationships.
• Sales Process: Use a multi-step process with defined criteria and executive sponsorship.
