Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an HR Shared Services Representative to deliver frontline HR support within a centralized Shared Services model. This remote role handles inquiries, onboarding tasks in Workday, and post-offer processing for employees and candidates, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Centers of Excellence, and external vendors to ensure compliant, timely responses in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years HR or administrative experience in a high-volume service environment.
• Experience supporting post-offer or onboarding-related HR processes.
• Experience working in centralized or shared services HR operating model.
• Ability to follow documented processes and apply standard guidance to deliver consistent outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for HR inquiries from employees, leaders, and candidates.
• Provide transactional and navigational HR support in Workday, including onboarding tasks and data updates.
• Support post-offer activities by coordinating background screening, work authorization, and onboarding documentation.
• Explain HR policies and escalate non-routine scenarios as needed.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and vendors to resolve HR transactions.
