Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join the People & Culture Workforce Development team for a May–August 2027 program. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations from a remote setting with Mon–Fri hours.

Eligible states include OH, among others. Ideal candidates are enrolled juniors/seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or a related field, with strong communication and detail‑oriented skills and basic Excel

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university as an incoming junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
