Advocate Health is offering a Human Resources Intern position for the summer in Charlotte, NC. The role provides hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR operations within the People & Culture team.

Expect to work up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, remotely from eligible states, May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with mentorship and exposure to real-world HR practices in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher required.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic HR software is preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings and screen resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to HR process improvement and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
