Job summary

InteLogix is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support designated regions with a strong emphasis on California compliance and wage-hour regulations. The role covers onboarding, policy implementation, performance management, and employee relations across remote teams.

You will administer HR programs, maintain records, and ensure legal compliance, while collaborating with senior HR management to align with company goals. A California-focus and CA leave rules knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage and hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and federal/state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; help develop personnel policies and handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write/Revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
• Attend administrative staff meetings and seminars.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
