Job summary

InteLogix, a leading provider of integrated solutions, seeks a HR Generalist to support California operations in a remote capacity. The role requires 5+ years of HR generalist experience, with deep knowledge of CA wage-and-hour rules, CFRA/PDL, PAGA exposure, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL, PAGA exposure, and California compliance.
• Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as necessary.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.
