Job summary

InteLogix, a leading technology solutions provider, seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support designated regions with a primary focus on California. This remote role handles employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation and compliance across multiple states, while collaborating with senior HR leadership.

The position requires 5+ years of HR generalist experience, CA wage-and-hour knowledge, CFRA/PDL leave, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience acceptable.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees with CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and compliance.
• Knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; help develop policies and procedures manual.
• Contribute to department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; update job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
• Participate in staff meetings and seminars.
• Maintain HR information system records and compile reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws.
• Support performance management processes and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
