Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced HR Data and Reporting Analyst to support HR Operations with workforce reporting, data analysis, and operational insights across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.

The role collaborates with HRIS and HR teams to define report requirements, validate data, and ensure data confidentiality. Strong Excel, SQL, and BI skills are essential, with a focus on accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing HR data and developing reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools across HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to validate data and explain findings.
• Experience partnering with HRIS on system-related questions or technical issues preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau is a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance, reporting documentation, and quality-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to assess reporting needs and translate them into reports, dashboards, and recurring deliverables.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc Workday reports, including calculated fields.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for requests requiring system configuration, security changes, or integrations.
• Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and drive issue resolution with HR teams.
• Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics and present findings clearly.
• Support audits and compliance-related reporting and respond to time-sensitive data requests.
• Test and validate new or revised reports from a business-user perspective.
• Maintain data security and provide user guidance for interpreting HR information.
