Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Coder responsible for accurately coding diagnoses, procedures, and services. You will work closely with providers to ensure accurate medical records and billing. This remote position requires at least 1 year of coding experience and proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass internal coding test.
• Minimum of 1 year of physician/professional coding experience.
• Ability to obtain coding certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
• Ensure documentation is clear.
• Review claim edits and correct errors promptly.

Skills

ICD-10-CM

Knowledge of professional billing revenue cycle processes

Knowledge and experience with Epic

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
