Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Supervisor of Coding to manage the coding team, ensuring compliance and integrity in health information management. This role requires oversight of coding practices, coordination of staff, and daily operations pertaining to coding for inpatient, outpatient, and transitional care services. Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management and 2-4 years of facility coding experience. The position allows for remote work from specific states only.

Qualifications

• Experience in managerial capacity in health information management, preferably 3–5 years.
• 2–4 years facility coding experience required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RHIA or RHIT or CCS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Coding Team.
• Perform ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding.
• Monitor coding accuracy and productivity.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding

Health Information Management

Education

Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management

Bachelor’s with RHIA preferred
