Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding in acute care or professional settings.
• RHIT/RHIA/CCS/CPC/CIRCC certifications to be completed within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to assign diagnoses and procedure codes.
• Ensure coding practices comply with AHIMA standards and official guidelines.
• Support inpatient, outpatient and professional services coding as needed.
