Hanover Research is hiring an Account Executive for Higher Education in the Arlington, VA area with a remote option. You will serve as the main commercial contact, selling to new clients and managing renewals while coordinating with research and grants teams.

The role emphasizes consultative selling to U.S. higher education institutions, collaboration with senior leaders, and meeting ambitious revenue targets in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (business, social sciences, education, communications, political science, economics, psychology, or public policy preferred)
• 5–7 years of consultative sales experience: New Business Development and Client Relationship Management
• Experience selling to U.S. higher education institutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 20% domestically

Responsabilités

• Consult with prospects and clients to identify challenges and issues impacting education leaders
• Educate prospects and clients on Hanover's solutions
• Deliver polished presentations by phone, video or in-person that convert interest to action
• Manage a robust pipeline of prospects and client renewals
• Accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessment
• Meet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
• Be assigned a Sales Associate who will focus on lead generation and help with it
• Act as a mentor to entry-level Associates
