Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, and BESS from concept through construction handoff. This fully remote role covers planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy.

You will coordinate deliverables with clients, utilities, and internal teams, manage risk, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for HV electrical projects from concept through handoff, including planning, estimating, scheduling and budgeting.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through construction turnover.
• Manage procurement strategy and vendor/proposal evaluations.
• Identify project risks related to scope, schedule, procurement, labor, and site conditions.
