Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, and BESS projects.

The role is fully remote and focuses on planning, estimating, budgeting, risk analysis, and client coordination from concept through handoff. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations to develop execution strategies, manage cost and schedule, and ensure successful project turnover across nationwide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; 7+ years in electrical construction or preconstruction preferred.
• Experience leading high-voltage projects including substations and transmission lines; EPC or design-build exposure beneficial.
• Strong cost estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects from 12kV to 500kV+.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and risk assessment.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates and analyze designs.
