Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, BESS, and industrial power systems.

This role is fully remote; location details will be discussed during the interview. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, estimating, constructability reviews, risk assessment, and procurement strategy, coordinating with clients, utilities, and internal teams to ensure a successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating or PM.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, BESS or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for HV projects from concept to turnover.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews and risk assessment.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate deliverables from inception through construction handoff.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze bid documents.
• Manage client, utilities, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Lead kickoffs, align stakeholders and foster relationships.
