Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced High-Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead HV preconstruction for substations, transmission lines, and energy storage projects. This role supports nationwide, entirely remote work with responsibilities from concept through handoff.

You will drive estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessments while coordinating with engineering, operations, and procurement to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, PM, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Manage risk assessment and constructability reviews.
• Procurement and vendor management to align estimates with schedules and execution plans.
