Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and energy storage systems. The role requires coordinating planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and client communication from concept through handoff, with a focus on safety and constructability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage projects from concept to handoff.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Manage procurement strategy and vendor relationships.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings and stakeholder alignment.
