Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects nationwide.

This remote role focuses on planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessments to ensure smooth handoffs from concept through construction. You will coordinate with clients, utilities, consultants, and internal teams, develop procurement strategies, and manage long-lead equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating, or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial power.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and contract docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Develop execution strategies, budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception to turnover.
• Oversee risk assessment and constructability reviews.
• Manage client relationships, proposals, and kickoff meetings.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
