Job summary

SOLVE Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure nationwide.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy to ensure successful project execution from concept through handoff. The role emphasizes substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, BESS, and industrial power distribution, with strong client coordination and risk assessment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~ 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• ~Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• ~ Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• ~ Electrical codes and industry standards
• ~ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; ensure alignment with plans.
