Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for HV electrical infrastructure, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy while coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs from concept through construction. The role emphasizes risk assessment, schedule management, and vendor collaboration across projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects from concept to turnover.
• Develop project execution strategies and manage planning, budgeting, scheduling and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables with clients, utilities, consultants and internal teams.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor proposals and ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
