Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical projects, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

This fully remote role oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk, and procurement to ensure successful handoff to construction. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of HV experience, strong estimating and client-management skills, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, operations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects (12kV to 500kV+).
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, procurement, and business development.
• Ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
• Facilitate handoff from preconstruction to construction operations.
