Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Remote Windows Service Desk Technician for a contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL. The role provides Tier 1 support to internal users via phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshooting AD, Exchange, and connectivity issues, and documenting resolutions.

Ideal candidates will have prior help desk experience, AD/Exchange familiarity, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication. Local Tallahassee area preferred, but this is a fully remote role.

Qualifications

Previous Help Desk or Desktop Support experience.
Experience supporting users in an Active Directory environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.
Support user administration and account management within Active Directory.
Assist with Microsoft Exchange-related support requests.
Escalate complex issues when appropriate while ensuring excellent customer communication.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate support records.
