TEKsystems is seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands-on support for end users, devices, and workplace technology. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues while providing excellent service to employees and executive stakeholders.

The role covers onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, imaging, and network equipment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of desktop support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows-based workstations, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and diagnostics.
• Experience supporting wired and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with SCCM, imaging, and software deployment.
• Experience with MDM solutions, ideally Cisco Meraki.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and endpoint administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair computer systems and end-user hardware.
• Troubleshoot OS, software, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Use diagnostics and monitoring tools to identify and remediate problems.
• Support local servers, network infrastructure, and monitoring platforms to maintain uptime.
• Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Configure wired and wireless network connectivity for users and remote sites.
• Assist with deployment of high-speed internet, APs, and job-site networks.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Support desktop imaging, software deployment, and client-side configuration using SCCM.
• Assist with PowerShell scripting for admin tasks.
• Manage and support mobile devices via MDM platforms such as Cisco Meraki.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees at all levels.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external clients for timely resolution.
• Explain complex tech concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third parties to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support executive stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
