Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a leading behavioral health crisis care provider. The Operations Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional healthcare and clinical operations initiatives across CHS's crisis network, collaborating with clinical, operations, IT, and vendor teams to move initiatives from intake through close.

This hands-on role manages scope, schedule, budget, risk, and reporting, building dashboards and PMO standards while driving ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination, project/program management, operations support, or process improvement, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong documentation practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com; ability to work independently).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to CHS sites.
• PMP certification or master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare/behavioral health, with telehealth/EHR exposure.
• LEAN or Six Sigma process improvement exposure.
• Hands-on experience with PMO establishment and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple, concurrent initiatives from planning through implementation with internal teams and outside vendors.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and workplans outlining objectives, milestones, timelines, and resource needs.
• Maintain initiatives on track to finish on time with quality and ROI.
• Build partnerships across clinical, operations, IT, and vendor teams to drive results.
• Ensure work stays compliant with healthcare regulatory, privacy (HIPAA), and organizational standards.
• Provide administrative and coordination support; maintain docs, action-item and issue logs, status trackers, meeting notes.
• Support the build and maturation of a newly forming PMO; assist process improvement and change adoption.
• Manage scope and change control, securing approvals for material changes to timeline, cost, or ROI.
• Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and presentations to leadership.
• Proactively spot and address project risks and issues with solutions.
