Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator to provide outstanding customer service to patients by phone and in person. You will process orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate with the sales team and referrals to meet insurance guidelines.

This role is remote-friendly in Arizona, with duties across billing, data entry, and scheduling, and offers a comprehensive teammate benefits program, including medical coverage, paid time off, 401(k), and more.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information to new and existing patients, troubleshoot common issues, elevate queries when necessary.
• Process branch orders and review multiple systems to assist customers, confirm delivery appointments, verify insurance, and obtain authorizations.
• Work with sales team, referrals and patients to gather documentation needed to meet insurance guidelines; request payor authorizations/information.
• Review new and recurring patient accounts; obtain necessary documentation to bill health insurance plans.
• Collect credit card payments and reconcile daily receivables; submit to the lock box.
• Perform outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May conduct downloads of recording devices and perform functional tests on respiratory equipment.
• Performs other duties as required
