Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare office or customer service.

• Ability to manage multiple systems and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information to patients and troubleshoot issues.
• Process branch orders, review systems, confirm delivery appointments, verify insurance, and obtain authorizations as required.
• Gather documentation from referrals or patients to meet insurance guidelines.
• Collect payments, reconcile daily receivables, and submit to the lock box.
• Perform outbound patient satisfaction calls to patients and referrals.
• May perform downloads of recording devices and basic functional tests on respiratory equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
