Qualifications

• Experience in a call center or healthcare customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with medical billing and coding preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional grammar.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from patients, law offices, insurance companies, and other outside facilities to resolve complex billing and insurance issues.
• Make outbound and take inbound calls to resolve balances on accounts.
• Answer complex billing questions (deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, denials).
• Reviews financial information and recommends payment options and/or assistance programs.
