Intermountain Health seeks an Applications Systems Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a defined set of clinical, administrative, or financial applications. Remote work options apply; video interviews via Teams and potential onsite interviews may be required.

The role directs a team, manages budgets, mentors staff, and coordinates with IS and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within SLAs and quality standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology related field. Education is verified.
• Four years experience in healthcare or computer technology related field.
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical leadership and direction for a department and day-to-day operations of staff.
• Plan and manage daily operations within departmental budgets.
• Direct work of employees including hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Manage customer, stakeholder, and vendor relationships and expectations.
• Communicate with staff and allocate resources to projects for timely delivery.
• Coordinate interdependencies and schedules with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide staff with technical and application training opportunities.
• Ensure staff follow incident, request, problems, and change control processes.
• Facilitate SLA/OLA creation, management, and measurement.
• Define, manage, and monitor application metrics (incident, time to resolution, customer satisfaction).
• Coordinate with IS teams to develop/test solutions and drive root cause analysis.
• Oversee documentation and training for technical support.
