SelectHealth - Murray is seeking an Application Systems Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a defined set of clinical, administrative, or financial applications. You will lead a team, manage budgets, ensure service levels, and coordinate with IS and business stakeholders, with remote work options where approved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology from an accredited institution.
• Four years experience in healthcare or computer technology-related field.
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction for department and day-to-day operations of a team.
• Manages daily operations within departmental budgets.
• Directs work of employees including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Manages customer, stakeholder, and vendor relationships as applicable.
• Communicates with staff and manages resources to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Coordinates interdependencies and schedules with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Provides training opportunities to staff on applications.
• Ensures adherence to Intermountain service management practices.
• Facilitates SLAs/OLAs and monitors application metrics.
• Coordinates across IS teams to prevent recurrence of incidents.
• Maintains technical support documentation and training for staff.
