Job summary

SelectHealth - Murray is seeking an Application Systems Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a defined set of applications across clinical, administrative, or financial sectors. You will lead teams, manage budgets, train staff, and coordinate with IS and business stakeholders in a remote-friendly environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and strong communication, with a video interview and possible onsite meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology related field.
• Four years experience in healthcare or computer technology related field.
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations of the department/function responsible for clinical, administrative, or financial systems.
• Manages budgets and financial assets to achieve financial objectives.
• Oversees human resource management and staff training for the department.
• Regularly communicates with staff and manages resource allocation to projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and according to requirements.
• Coordinates technical interdependencies, schedules, and business requirements with other project teams and with key business stakeholders.
• Defines, manages, and monitors application specific metrics as outlined in the SLA, OLA.
• Facilitates training of staff and ensures adherence to incident, request, problems, change control processes.
• Oversees the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical support documentation.
