Job summary

Great American Insurance Group in the United States is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Representative for its Employer Health Solutions team. This remote, full-time role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting, broker relationships, and the sales process.

You will join a developmental program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role, with opportunities to learn about Level Funded health plans, medical stop loss, and broker engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn; comfortable building professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales representatives to learn Employer Health Solutions and develop consultative sales skills.
• Review and process RFPs, analyze opportunities, and communicate underwriting considerations with brokers.
• Support the sales team with prospect outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up, and account management.
• Participate in meetings with brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to learn the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training and on-the-job experience.
• Understand underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training to expand knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with CRM updates and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams to support new business opportunities.
• Progress through a structured training program to prepare for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
