Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Representative for the Employer Health Solutions team. This remote, full-time role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships across the continental United States.

Develop skills in medical stop loss and Level Funded health plans while learning the sales process and building a professional network with industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn Employer Health Solutions sales through mentorship and teaming with experienced reps.
• Review RFPs, analyze opportunities, and communicate underwriting considerations to brokers.
• Support outreach, scheduling, follow-ups, and account management tasks.
• Meet with brokers, agencies, owners, and prospective clients to learn the sales process.
• Develop knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training.
• Understand underwriting guidelines, healthcare products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry events to expand knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain activity records and assist with CRM and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal partners on new business opportunities.
• Progress through training for advancement to a full Sales Rep role.
