Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join a remote, full-time sales team. This developmental role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships to build a long-term career in insurance sales.

You will learn the Employer Health Solutions business, support outreach, and gain insight into RFPs, negotiations, and client relationships while advancing through a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to learn and drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales reps to learn Employer Health Solutions and develop consultative sales skills.
• Review and process RFPs, analyze opportunities, and communicate underwriting considerations and eligibility with brokers.
• Support the sales team with outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to understand the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training and on‑the‑job experience.
• Develop understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training programs to expand knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with CRM updates and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to support new business opportunities.
• Progress through a structured training program for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
