GovCIO is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to act as the clinical authority on a health IT delivery team serving Veteran community care. You will translate clinical workflows into clear, testable requirements and validate functionality against real clinic workloads.

This fully remote role within the United States supports VA-related processes, requiring RN licensure and 8+ years of healthcare experience, plus experience with HSRM/VistA/CPRS or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in clinical healthcare
• Active, unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory
• Two+ years of VA community care referral coordination experience within last 12 months
• Experience with VA HSRM, VistA/CPRS or Millennium/PowerChart systems
• Ability to translate clinical processes into build-ready artifacts and testable criteria
• Ability to work remotely with reliable connectivity during Eastern Time hours
• Must be able to obtain VA Public Trust background clearance

Responsabilités

• Serve as clinical authority for community care referral and care coordination workflows
• Document current-state processes and translate into user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules
• Validate delivered functionality through clinical user acceptance testing
• Ensure system behavior aligns with VHA policy and field SOPs
• Collaborate with program leadership and engineering as translator between clinical practice and IT
• Define and execute clinical UAT using real case scenarios
• Define reporting/dashboard requirements from coordinator and supervisor perspectives
• Support staff readiness through training needs analysis and field readiness
