GovCIO is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to serve as the clinical authority on health IT capabilities for Veteran community care, working remotely across the United States. You will translate clinical workflows into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and validate functionality against real clinic workloads to ensure compliance with VHA directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• 2+ years direct VA community care experience or similar.
• Experience writing workflows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with VA systems (HSRM, VistA/CPRS, Millennium/PowerChart).
• Ability to work remotely with UT Eastern Time hours.

Responsabilités

• Serve as clinical and operational authority for community care referral and care coordination workflows.
• Translate current-state processes into user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Validate functionality through clinical user acceptance testing.
• Ensure system behavior aligns with VHA directives and SOPs.
• Collaborate with program leadership and engineering as translator of requirements.
• Define and execute clinical UAT using real-case scenarios.
• Define reporting/dashboard requirements from coordinator perspective.
• Support training and field readiness by identifying staff needs.
