GovCIO is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to serve as the clinical authority on a team delivering health IT capabilities for Veteran community care. The role documents day-to-day community care workflows, translates them into testable requirements, and validates that delivered functionality aligns with VHA policy.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of clinical healthcare experience.
• Experience with VA community care referral coordination or related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical and operational authority for community care referral workflows.
• Translate workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Validate functionality through clinical user acceptance testing.
• Define reporting and dashboard requirements for coordinators and supervisors.
