GovCIO is hiring a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to serve as the clinical authority on a health IT delivery team for Veteran community care. You will document current-state workflows, translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams, and validate functionality through clinical user acceptance testing.

You will ensure policy compliance with VHA directives and act as a bridge between clinical practice, program leadership, and engineering, reporting to a Program Manager,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Registered Nurse with 5+ years of clinical healthcare experience.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a United States state or territory.
• Two or more years of direct, hands-on work in VA community care referral coordination or related areas.

Responsabilités

• Serves as the clinical and operational authority for community care referral and care coordination workflows.
• Documents current-state clinical and administrative processes and translates them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensures system behavior reflects governing policy (VHA directives 1230, 1231, 1232).
• Participates in requirements refinement, design reviews, and sprint demonstrations as the clinical reviewer.
• Defines and executes clinical user acceptance testing using real-case scenarios.
• Defines reporting and dashboard requirements from the coordinator/supervisor perspective.
