Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to serve as the clinical authority on a team delivering health IT capabilities for Veteran community care. You will document workflows, translate them into build-ready artifacts, and validate functionality against real clinic workloads on a fully remote basis within the United States.

You will collaborate with clinical and engineering teams, refine requirements, and support testing and training to ensure policy compliance and effective care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a United States state or territory.
• Two or more years of direct, hands-on work in VA community care referral coordination, consult management, scheduling, or eligibility and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Documents current-state clinical and administrative processes and translates them into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and diagrams.
• Defines and executes clinical user acceptance testing using real-case scenarios.
• Convenes and translates for a broader subject matter expert group covering scheduling, eligibility, and authorization.
