Job summary

Remote work is available for eligible states, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, with Alaska time zone alignment. This is a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm Alaska time, in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Verify medical record analysis and assign provider deficiencies to incomplete medical records.
• Review medical record work queues for completion and electronically assign deficiencies in the documentation system.
• Follow up on assigned deficiencies verifying completion by the provider.
• Coordinate with providers regarding assigned deficiencies.
• Perform monthly clinical pertinence reviews using established criteria and document in the designated software.

HIM/Medical Records experience

Education

Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management

RHIA or RHIT certification
