Job summary

Providence Seward is seeking a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote, full-time role. The position supports day shift hours (8am-4:30pm Alaska time) Monday-Friday, with a 40-hour work week.

The role requires 3 years HIM/Medical Records experience in an acute care setting, an Associate's in HIT, a Bachelor's in HIM, and RHIA or RHIT certification. Remote work is allowed for several states including California.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Records experience in an acute care setting.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management.
• RHIA or RHIT certification (American Health Information Management Association).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify medical records and assign provider deficiencies to incomplete records.
• Review medical record work queues for completion.
• Perform monthly clinical pertinence review following established criteria and document in designated software.
