Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center seeks a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote, full-time role. You will analyze medical records, assign deficiencies to incomplete records, review work queues for completion, and follow up with providers to verify documentation accuracy.

Requirements include 3 years HIM/Medical Records experience in an acute care setting; preferred RHIA/RHIT certification and degrees in Health Information Technology or Health Information Management.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and verify relevant information.
• Assign provider deficiencies to incomplete medical records.
• Review medical record work queues for completion.
• Electronically assign deficiencies to providers in the documentation system.
• Perform follow up on assigned deficiencies to verify completion.

Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology
