Providence Seward Medical Center in Alaska offers a fully remote Health Information Management Records Analyst role. This full-time, day-shift position (Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm AK time) supports patient-focused care across Providence facilities in Alaska and beyond.

The analyst verifies medical record analyses, assigns provider deficiencies, reviews work queues for completion, and conducts monthly clinical pertinence reviews with documented results in the core software.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Records experience in an acute care setting.
• Associates in Health Information Technology and a Bachelor's in Health Information Management.
• RHIA or RHIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify medical record analyses and assign deficiencies to incomplete records.
• Review work queues for completion and accuracy.
• Perform monthly clinical pertinence reviews and document in the designated software.
